Our greenest green tea, Matcha Super Green combines first and second flush sencha with bright matcha green tea powder for a supercharged, vivid green cup. Sencha lends delicious umami and sweetness that are enlivened by the fresh points of pure Japanese matcha. Celebrated as a source of clean energy with its balance of caffeine and L-theanine amino acids, matcha lends this tea an uplifting energy and Zen buzz that goes beyond what is found with a typical sencha. Matcha Super Green yields two brilliant infusions: most of the matcha is released in the first infusion for an ultra-rich cup, followed by a second infusion that presents a welcome sweetness comprised mostly of sencha.

Kagoshima Prefecture is located at the southwest tip of Kyushu (the third largest island of Japan) and is largely mountainous and home to important lumber, fishing and agriculture industries. Much like the rest of Japan, this region has well manicured tea gardens with well-developed irrigation, and farmers follow strict growing procedures to produce this perfect tea bush shape and size.

    So good for you!

    I've read so many good things about Macha green tea, so decided to try it. While the taste didn't immediately say yum to me, I am more used to it now and don't mind it at all. Keep in mind I'm mainly a black tea person-

    so green tea is foreign to my taste buds at first. But you do acclimate to it after a while and the health benefits are well worth it according to all my research. My husband drinks it also now and believe me, that's saying something-lol.

    Best Tea bag Matcha Green

    This is my go-to tea that I drink daily and I love Rishi's Matcha compared to most other brands and I've tried many. I normally drink loose tea because I like to control the quantity of leaves per scoop and while some bags don't have nearly enough tea in them, the flavor and consistency in this tea is still spot on. This will be a regular order for me.

    This Matcha enhanced green has a beautifully balanced flavor. The sachet is so easy to use but I am also going to try the barista matcha powder for an alternative and to make lattes.

    My favorite tea

    I start my day with this tea every morning . I enjoy a cup or two before I take my pup out on his first walk of the day. Excellent color & flavor, it surpassed my expectations .
