Iced Tea Smash

Malty and minty—featuring Golden Yunnan. Enjoy this easy iced tea recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 tbsp of Golden Yunnan
  • 12 oz hot water (212°F)
  • 0.75 oz simple syrup
  • 5 dashes Angostura bitters
  • Half of a lemon, cut into quarters
  • Large handful of fresh mint

Directions

  1. Steep Golden Yunnan in hot water for 4 minutes. Strain into a small glass jar or pitcher and let cool to room temperature.
  2. Fill a glass with ice and add cooled tea, syrup and bitters, stirring to combine.
  3. Garnish with a mint sprig and lemon wheel and enjoy.
