Wild Sun-Dried Green Tea
Tangy, sweet, sour and uniquely aromatic with a refreshing and chilled out energy
About This Tea
It contains comparatively higher levels of amino acids and L-theanine than most other types of tea. Coupled with a lower caffeine score, this tea is known to be a refreshing, meditative, and relaxing variety that some tea lovers drink to unwind.
There are many variants of this wild tea variety that can be found in Thailand, Yunnan, Vietnam, and other parts of the ancient tea world. Usually, this tea is used to make Wild Silver Needles.
We wanted to push the level a bit, so we tried a batch of sun-dried green tea using first growth 1-bud & 2-leaves plucks. The result is a uniquely aromatic green tea with layers of tangy, sweet, and sour flavors. The notes of chamomile, spearmint, cucumber, and citrus are very unique. The infusion has a tinge of blue-green hue that is naturally occurring due to the wild tea tree variety.

Overall, very pleasant during the afternoon or evening. The color is very light but has a mild citrus and cucumber taste.
