Literally "mixed spiced tea," Masala Chai is a classic style of black tea blended with traditional spices native to South and Southeast Asia. The tea base consists of a robust and malty Assam balanced with our new, lively Orange Pekoe from northern Thailand. We are proud of our bold yet balanced blend, emphasizing zesty ginger and fragrant cardamom with the simmering sweetness of Saigon cinnamon.

Based on an 8oz cup of tea made with suggested steeping method relevant to the tea type. An average cup of coffee contains about 90 – 120 mg / 8oz cup.

Traditional Preparation

Mix 2 Tbsp chai, 1 cup water, and 1 cup milk in a saucepan. Bring to a boil then reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in sugar or sweetener to taste. Strain into a mug or pitcher and enjoy! Chai can also be enjoyed over ice.

Myanmar

Shan State, Myanmar, stretches across a highland plateau defined by rolling mountains, fertile valleys and a long history of tea cultivation. The region is home to several ethnic groups, including the Palaung (Ta’ang), Shan and Pa-O peoples, many of whom share deep cultural ties to tea traditions that extend into neighboring Yunnan Province and Northern Thailand. Tea has long been woven into daily life here; for generations, families tended small plots of tea alongside fruit trees such as mango and jackfruit, cultivating leaves for household use as well as local trade.

    Best masala chai ever

    Have purchased this numerous times. Best masala chai I have ever had and I'm Indian been making tea for family since I was a child. Have tried many different brands but nothing has come close to rishi masala loose leaf. Closest thing to masala chai in India by far.

    Best tea I’ve ever had

    Truly this tea is phenomenal. Delicious, rich flavor. I look forward to it every morning. And ever since swapping it for coffee, my stomach issues have gone away. Best ever!!

    Best Chai Ever

    Purchased earlier from a neighborhood co-op & made a latte with oat milk & a some honey, just want to say this is hands down thee most delicious chai ever!!! A perfectly balanced blend of yum yum :)

    Deliciousness in a cup!

    The most delicious tea whether you drink it hot or cold. Refreshing drank cold in the hot summer months in Texas and warm, delicious and flavorful when drank hot. The combination of ingredients makes you be almost addicted to it!
