Hypnotic aromas of sweet cardamom and clove balanced by the energizing heat of ginger

About this tea
Literally "mixed spiced tea," Masala Chai is a classic style of black tea blended with traditional spices native to South and Southeast Asia. The tea base consists of a robust and malty Assam balanced with our new, lively Orange Pekoe from northern Thailand. We are proud of our bold yet balanced blend, emphasizing zesty ginger and fragrant cardamom with the simmering sweetness of Saigon cinnamon.

Doi Chiang Dao

Northern Thailand

There are tea growing villages and areas of forest tea all over the Doi Chiang Dao region between Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai in Northern Thailand. Once part of a greater Dai Kingdom that spanned the regions of Burma, Yunnan, and parts of Laos, Northern Thailand is part of a rich history of tea culture that has brought Chinese tea practices and traditions to the area. Home to widespread old growth tea forests, Doi Chiang Dao is an amazing source of oolong, red and Pu’er teas.

Reviews Summary
Customers say: this masala chai offers a rich, flavorful blend of spices including cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, and black pepper. The tea is described as smooth, warming, and aromatic with a well-balanced spice profile. Many appreciate its full-bodied taste and find it perfect for morning routines or afternoon breaks. Users enjoy it both hot and iced, often adding milk, honey, or sugar to create lattes. While most praise the spice level, some find it too peppery or wish for stronger cardamom notes. A few mention the loose leaf version can be powdery, and some note concerns about packaging quality or strength consistency in recent purchases.

If you are chosy about the tea you drink, or wanting to step outside the box and explore the world and varieties of tea - caffiene and herbal galore - Reishi Tea in WI is where you must shop. I gave up coffee once I tasted their Masala Chai. Its so flavorful and wakes you up calmly with no acidity. The have “teaser” sizes so you can taste so many first. The best is they ship 2nd day, so no waitng a week or more for your tea.

Amazingly well crafted blend. Frankly, I like this better than any traditional Assam based chai blends. Now my go to before bedtime.

    Best Chai Ever

I tried a satchel box from a local co-op and fell instantly in love with the taste so much )with local honey and I prefer a little local half and half as it’s creamier) that I gave up years of drinking coffee. The acidity was suddenly getting to me. I love this in the morning and I take it with Lion’ Mane and I have a nice calm alertness. Best chai I’ve ever tasted, so I ordered the large bag with a month of servings.

    Deliciousness in a cup!

The most delicious tea whether you drink it hot or cold. Refreshing drank cold in the hot summer months in Texas and warm, delicious and flavorful when drank hot. The combination of ingredients makes you be almost addicted to it!
