Earl Grey is the most widely enjoyed black tea blend in the world. This British tea classic dates back to the nineteenth-century tea trade when Charles Grey, the second Earl Grey, was presented with a gift of Taitaicha—tea scented with citrus blossoms—during his travels in Canton.

We’ve crafted our premium Earl Grey using naturally sweet and smooth black teas grown in the highlands of Yunnan and Thailand, infused with the first winter pressing of bergamot essential oil, directly imported from Reggio Di’ Calabria, Italy—the origin place of this prized variety of citrus.

The Bergamot Orange is a special variety of intensely tart, aromatic and bitter citrus that grows in Calabria, Italy. It has a one of a kind aroma and is harvested for its essential oil which is cold pressed in an ancient and natural way. The essential oils are used in confections, liquors, ice creams, medications to control cholesterol, sodas, tonic waters, perfumes and cosmetics. Most notably, Bergamot Citrus is the key ingredient of Earl Grey Tea. Rishi Earl Grey only uses the pure, cold pressed essential oil from Italian Bergamot and unlike other Earl Grey teas in the market, we never use flavors, extracts or imitations.

    I’ve had this a few times in the sky club with Delta traveling

    I always enjoy tea in the morning, and your tea has been amazing, and I was thrilled to find I could buy it at home and not have it individually wrapped.

    I love Earl Grey tea and had high hopes, they were met! This tea is super fragrant and smelled lovey long after I drank it. Come fall, I'll definitely purchase a larger quantity.

    Rishi Earl Grey is not, in fact, gray…

    But rather among black teas it stands out as possessing a real presence - it has, as they say, real body. Mine is with a spoon of honey + tiny bit of lemon, and I’ve convinced myself it has restorative & possibly curative magical properties. I’ve stored away large quantities for the imminent apocalypse, and there’s no higher recommendation…

    Great Tea!

    This is truly the best tea bags I have ever used. Amazing how quickly the water turns while other tea bags have to soak for a long time and still don't come out as dark. I find I am able to sometimes use the tea bag 2 times and still get a great cup of tea. Love this product....refuse to buy any other tea bags...Keep up the good work!
