Cinnamon Plum Apple Cider

A spicy stovetop tea-cider to warm you up from within.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 Tbsp Rishi Cinnamon Plum loose leaf tea
  • 5 oz water, heated to 200°F
  • 5 oz apple cider
  • 1 cinnamon stick for garnish

Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to small saucepan (except for cinnamon stick).
  2. Bring to a low simmer and allow to infuse for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Strain into a cup.
  4. Garnish with cinnamon stick and serve right away.

Prep ahead

Steep tea in water for 5 minutes, then strain into a glass jar. Pour in apple cider and refrigerate. When you’re ready to sip, warm on the stove before serving.

Make it a hot toddy

Add 1 to 2 oz of brandy right before serving.
