An energizing mix of matcha and sencha blended for a rich sweetness and smooth umami

Our greenest green tea, Matcha Super Green combines first and second flush sencha with bright matcha green tea powder for a supercharged, vivid green cup. Sencha lends delicious umami and sweetness that are enlivened by the fresh points of pure Japanese matcha. Celebrated as a source of clean energy with its balance of caffeine and L-theanine amino acids, matcha lends this tea an uplifting energy and Zen buzz that goes beyond what is found with a typical sencha. Matcha Super Green yields two brilliant infusions: most of the matcha is released in the first infusion for an ultra-rich cup, followed by a second infusion that presents a welcome sweetness comprised mostly of sencha.

For the perfect brew, steep one Matcha Super Green tea bag in 8 ounces of water heated to 160°F for 2 minutes. This temperature and time will extract the vibrant flavors and rich umami without bitterness.

    Best Tea bag Matcha Green

    This is my go-to tea that I drink daily and I love Rishi's Matcha compared to most other brands and I've tried many. I normally drink loose tea because I like to control the quantity of leaves per scoop and while some bags don't have nearly enough tea in them, the flavor and consistency in this tea is still spot on. This will be a regular order for me.

    Really Delicious

    I drink mostly black tea, but enjoy trying herbals and green teas as well. Matcha Super Green was included in a gift box of assorted Rishi teas I received, and I was pleasantly surprised at its delightful flavor profile and smoothness. Some green teas are too bitter or grassy for my taste, but I loved this one.
