About this tea

Jasmine tea is the most popular flower-scented tea in East Asia. Its enchanting, unforgettable aroma is created through an artisanal method of tea scenting that dates back more than 800 years. Jasmine blossoms are gathered during midsummer evenings and spread amongst tea leaves over several successive nights. Because dried tea leaves are hygroscopic, they readily absorb floral essences like jasmine.

Grown amidst a pristine natural environment, the teas from China's southwestern Hubei province have been known for centuries as a top tea region. We began sourcing teas from this region in the early 2000's and were among the first tea companies to help establish organic certification among the hundreds of family tea farms organized into a co-op system. The sub-tropical continental region has a misty mountain climate, encouraging the tea plants to grow slowly, concentrating their dewy flavor and producing a really special quality not found in common tea farms.

    Jasmine green tea

    I have been a fan of Jasmine green tea for a long time but when I tried a cup of the RISHI brand at an airport lounge, I was blown away. This is hands down the most fragent, fresh tea I have ever tasted.

    Impressed by the quality & so fragrant!

    I was gifted a few sachets from a friend at work when I ran out of my own tea. She gave me a few different flavors, but this Jasmine Green Tea was BY FAR my favorite. I’ve since bought two boxes & have a cup in the morning & an afternoon cup when I need more focus. It’s a whole experience with how fragrant the Jasmine is. I feel so calmed when feeling anxious. & when I add a little honey to it, it feels like such a treat. I also looked up the benefits of Jasmine & it’s true — focus, calm, steady energy, promotes digestion. I have felt all the benefits & I know this brand has such high quality standards that you can taste & feel. My new favorite tea brand!!
