Do you love your chai hot and extra spicy? Spicy Masala Chai is designed for you. We doubled the concentration of ginger compared to our original blend, and added a dash of red chili to take it to the next level. Classic aromatic accents of cloves, cinnamon and cardamom add traditional richness and depth.

There are tea growing villages and areas of forest tea all over the Doi Chiang Dao region between Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai in Northern Thailand. Once part of a greater Dai Kingdom that spanned the regions of Burma, Yunnan, and parts of Laos, Northern Thailand is part of a rich history of tea culture that has brought Chinese tea practices and traditions to the area. Home to widespread old growth tea forests, Doi Chiang Dao is an amazing source of oolong, red and Pu’er teas.

    This is my all-time favorite chai!

    I am a huge Chai drinker and have tried many different chai's over the years and this is my all-time favorite. I love the extra spicy version and wish it were available in tea bags for when I travel (I take the regular masala chai when I travel). This is NOT cinnamon forward, but more blended with warm brown spices including cardamom and black pepper. Thanks for making an amazing product!

    Spicy Masala Chai is the best!

    It is simply perfect! My first Rishi order included the Masala Chai, which I love, but I always add a little cayenne to suit my taste for spice. This tea has the wonderful spice that I love.

    Shipping times are a disgrace

    The product is very good. I love the tea. This company's shipping methods are worse than abysmal. They had the audacity to charge me for shipping and then it took 18 days to come via Fed Ex. my location is a13 hr drive from Wisconsin. 2 1/2 wks to get here??? I have found a new source of chai tea that I like a lot. That company got it here in 4 days.
