When practicing Gongfucha, it is preferential to utilize a 茶海 Cha Hai, or Serving Pitcher to ensure each cup receives equal portions and tastes. This glass Chai Hai is perfect for a variety of sizes of teapots and gaiwan, able to comfortably hold up to 260mL/8.7oz. The glass allows the infusion color to be observed during brewing and can add an extra element to tea presentations.

    The perfect Gong Dao Bei

    I really like the size of this Gong Dao Bei, it’s the perfect compliment to my 150ml Gaiwan. I also like the rounded shape, and the fact that even though it doesn’t have a handle, when I don’t overfill it & I hold it at the top, the glass is never too hot. It even works well with my filter that I place at the top, because I like a very clean cup (with the smaller leaf bits filtered out). Overall a solid Serving Pitcher/Gong Dao Bei for Gongfu Cha tea brewing.
