Jasmine Green Tea Matcha Latte

A silky, floral umami-rich drink
to jumpstart slow mornings.

Ingredients

  • 3g Rishi Barista Matcha
  • 1.5 oz hot water (175°F)
  • 4 oz milk, or milk alternative, steamed
  • 2 tsp Jasmine Syrup

Directions

Jasmine Syrup:

  1. Brew Rishi Jasmine tea in a Simple Brew for 5 minutes with 8 oz hot water (180°F).
  2. Add the brewed tea to a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  3. Add sugar and stir until completely dissolved. Reduce heat to medium, stirring often until the liquid has thickened to desired consistency (about 10 minutes).

Latte:

  1. In a zig-zag motion, whisk Rishi Barista Matcha with hot water until foamy.
  2. Add steamed milk and Jasmine Syrup to your mug of choice, using a hand frother to combine.
  3. Pour prepared matcha over milk. Enjoy.
