Reviews Summary
Customers say: this fruity herbal tea has a vibrant ruby red color and bold berry flavor. Many enjoy it both hot and iced, finding it naturally sweet without needing added sweeteners. The tea brews to a beautiful deep red color that customers love to showcase in clear glasses. Common feedback includes praise for its refreshing taste and strong fruity aroma. While most find the flavor rich and satisfying, some note it can be tart or sour, particularly due to the hibiscus content. Many customers use it as their go-to summer iced tea or mix it with other teas for added berry flavor.

    Purest Tea

I've tried other loose leaf tea. Hands down Rishi has the best quality. Fresh and full of flavor.

It's GOOD, but a bit tart & tangy for me

I'm really giving the Rishi Tea company the 5 stars for their good practices & customer service and the quality of their teas.

This particular tea? ....Jury's still out....waiting til after I try it iced too.

I had a favorite Rooibos Tea Blend for YEARS but am now aware that the tea bags it is packaged in, is leeching plastic into my tea. I've been on the hunt for something similar ever since. I won't mention the other company (I wish they'd change their tea bags to paper)....but the blend name was "African Sunset".

This Rishi "Scarlet" tea is a pretty good tea, but the fruity, tarty, tangy flavors overpower the rooibos flavor. It's a great combo.....it's just that the ratio is a bit off (it's a taste preference thing & I'm sure others would favor the rooibos flavor in the background rather than being more present in the tea...for my personal tastebuds, the fruity tangy notes overpower the rooibos. It's a great combo, but the ratio needs to put the rooibos and the other ingredients at about equal rather than the rooibos being almost undetectable).

I'm glad I ordered the sample packets.....and it's pretty good. I'm hoping it tastes much better when I add ice on a hot day.

But by all means.....put your trust in this company, and whatever tea you like best...this is the place to get it.

    Just okay

One dimensional tasting. Can’t tell there’s anything besides hibiscus.

Hi Beatrice! Thanks for giving our Scarlet a try. We recognize that tea is such a personal journey, and are sorry the hibiscus came across stronger than the other botanicals in the blend. Our Customer Service Team would be happy to suggest brewing adjustments that might help bring out more of the subtle notes.
