Our pure African rooibos is delicious hot or iced and tastes brilliant served with a thin slice of lemon. Traditionally harvested by the ancient Khoisan nomads of South Africa, rooibos became popularized in the global tea trade through Dutch efforts to find an indigenous African alternative to black tea.

Nestled in the heart of South Africa, the breathtaking Cederberg region captivates with its rugged, majestic beauty. Towering sandstone cliffs, adorned with ancient rock art, create a mesmerizing landscape that transports you to another era. The vast wilderness is sprinkled with crystal-clear streams and cascading waterfalls. This region is where Honey Bush and Rooibos herbal teas are grown.

Based on an 8oz cup of tea made with suggested steeping method relevant to the tea type. An average cup of coffee contains about 90 – 120 mg / 8oz cup.

Instructions:

Water Temperature: 195°F
Leaf to Water Ratio: 1 tablespoon per 8 ounces
Steep Time: 5-7 minutes

For the perfect cup of loose leaf rooibos tea, boil about 8 ounces of water and pour over one tablespoon of tea. Let it steep for 5 to 7 minutes, then enjoy the rich, full-bodied flavor.
