Greet the day with a bold, velvety black tea from the misty highlands of Yunnan—the ancestral home of Camellia sinensis.

Harvested from Mengku heirloom varietal tea trees cultivated on the terraced slopes of Wa Shan, the leaves and golden buds are masterfully oxidized and matured, giving this top-grade tea its incredible roundness and complexity. The result is a full-bodied, malty infusion with notes of bittersweet chocolate, peppery spice and sweet nectar—a must-try for black tea lovers.

Based on an 8oz cup of tea made with suggested steeping method relevant to the tea type. An average cup of coffee contains about 90 – 120 mg / 8oz cup.

Traditional Preparation

Do not rinse this tea; infuse the 1st brew for 2 - 3 minutes.

Repeat several times until the flavor and aroma of the tea dissipates. As the brewing session ensues, increase the infusion time to coax out the body and strength of the final infusions. This top-shelf black tea is delightfully smooth and aromatic when brewed straight, or divine with a touch of milk and sugar.

    My Favorite Tea

    I have enjoyed Golden Yunna for years, first thing in the morning. It is robust enough to retain a distinctly nutty, malty taste even after adding raw milk cream and honey. My favorite, go-to tea.

    In recent years I decided to step up my game with loose leaf tea especially of the black/red variety and while there are a few which I consider close, this is the best black tea I've ever had. Smooth, rich and heavenly sweet!

    Hard to pin down. Surupy malty meets fruit of a darjeeling. Excellent strong with long finish and no bitterness. Makes a great iced tea too.

    Even our neighbors swear it is the best iced tea they've ever tried. I Just tell them that I just know how to make a great cup. I will never tell - this tea makes the difference
