This organic matcha is shaped by mineral-rich volcanic soils and the skilled craftsmanship of our longtime partners in Kagoshima, Japan. The leaves are shaded for three to four weeks before harvest to develop satisfying umami depth and naturally high levels of mood-lifting L-theanine.

    High quality matcha

    My daughter was a barista at a high end coffee shop and grew to love matcha. This is the first one that has lived up to her high expectations of matcha! Its very potent so a little goes a long way. Highly recommend.

    Needs new packaging

    The matcha is good, but not as smooth as I was hoping for.

    The bag is too tall for the small amount of matcha in there. I have to dig down with the chashauku.

    The bag doesn't close, so I have to fold the top over 4 times to clip it. Eventually I'll cut the top third of the bag off when I start getting down to the bottom.
