About This Tea
Origin
San Louis Patosi
Mexico
Nestled in the plateau 415 kilometers slightly northwest from Mexico City, our vanilla farming partners in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, pollinate and harvest this most precious botanical ingredient.
The second most expensive crop to Saffron, Vanilla is majority hand-pollinated
and the journey of cultivating the incredible spice is a labor of love, taking over
a year to complete from pollination, to harvesting, to curing, and to export.
At Rishi, we take care to use flavor that is derived only from vanilla beans and whole vanilla pods and not a pharmaceutical distillation, so we are so grateful for our partners, the artisans in Mexico that meticulously hand craft vanilla for our captivating botanical and tea blends.

More plum flavor
Was this helpful?Rishi Tea & Botanicals1 week agoHi Patty! We're so sorry to hear our Cinnamon Plum was too spicy and didn't have enough plum flavor. We really appreciate you giving this blend a try! You might try steeping with a slightly cooler water temperature or reducing the steep time to mellow the spice notes and let more of the plum come through. Please don't hesitate to contact our Customer Service Team - we'd love to learn more about your experience and help with brewing suggestions or recommend other fruit-forward blends that might be more to your liking. Thanks for taking the time to share your honest feedback with us!
