Southeast Asia
Rishi Tea’s turmeric ginger and turmeric itself are of a rare quality due to the selection process ands countries of origin where we source turmeric. Loamy soils and tropical climates yield roots with deep pigmentation, complex aromatic compounds and high levels of curcumin. We seek red turmeric roots with deep and saturated infusions, pungent flavors and complex aromatic character. Not all turmeric meets our standards and not all regions can produce enough of the quality that we need for our blends so we sourced from multiple areas notes for premium quality.

There was a day where I thought this was discontinued (it’s not!), and I was so upset. I realized I had to leave a review. I like it better than any turmeric tea, golden milk, of non-caffeinated chai I have ever tried. So flavorful, so warming, and so wholesome. I love a cup of it in the evening while reading or watching tv. There’s something extra in this that I can’t quite pinpoint. Could it be the rose extract? I love it so much I confess to eating thé steeped spices with a spoon, after I am done brewing.

A fantastic tea any time of day with smooth coconut adding sweetness to the tart turmeric. I have mine hot with soymilk and add some milk oolong (Jin Xuan cultivar) in the morning which also imparts a milky flavor. A winner!!
