About

The flavor profile of hibiscus is tart and pleasantly tangy like a cranberry while being juicy and delicious like a tropical punch. Our new Passionfruit Hibiscus powder blends refreshing hibiscus with the aromatic delight of purple passionfruit and the sumptuous sweetness of red beets. Passionfruit Hibiscus can be enjoyed hot and cold or mixed up into fruit punches, juices and smoothies.
Hibiscus Sabdariffa, commonly known as Roselle, is a tropical plant with a rich history and diverse uses. Its origin can be traced back to Africa, specifically Sudan. From there, it spread to other regions with suitable climates, such as Nigeria, Egypt, Thailand, China, and many more. 
The flavor profile of Hibiscus Sabdariffa is tart and pleasantly sour, with a hint of cranberry-like notes. It is this unique taste that makes it a popular ingredient in herbal teas and culinary recipes. In herbal teas, it adds a refreshing and tangy element, either on its own or blended with other herbs and fruits. When used in foods, it can enhance the flavor of dishes, particularly in sauces, jellies, desserts, and beverages.

Passionfruit — Thailand

Passionfruit has a tangy and tropical taste with a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity.

Beetroot — Northern Thailand

Beetroot offers a subtly sweet and earthy flavor, paired with a vibrant crimson color that adds a natural touch of beauty and nutrition.

Hibiscus — El Faiyum, Egypt

Harvested by hand when plump and juicy, hibiscus makes a full-bodied, crimson colored infusion with a flavor similar to tart cranberry.

Based on an 8oz cup of tea made with suggested steeping method relevant to the tea type. An average cup of coffee contains about 90 – 120 mg / 8oz cup.
