Handcrafted in Chiang Mai by ceramic artist Techin Pintupan, this unique tea bowl features a soft white Katacuhi glaze with flowing blue-green enamel and natural clay texture—perfect for matcha and mindful tea rituals.

About This Product
Elevate your tea ritual with this one-of-a-kind ceramic tea bowl, handcrafted by artist Techin Pintupan using local soil from Chiang Mai in northern Thailand. Perfect for pouring matcha or your favorite infusion, each bowl reflects Techin’s deep appreciation for Japanese tea.

This special-edition piece features a Katacuhi glaze with a soft matte white base, accented by flowing blue-green enamel. Its unique spotted texture is a natural result of the minerals in the local clay, making every bowl distinct.

A graduate of Chiang Mai University’s Faculty of Fine Arts, Techin began his career in sculpture before founding Tetang Pottery Studio in 2016. His work is informed by a love of Thai and Japanese cuisine and culture, expressed through contemporary forms that are deeply rooted in place.
