The tea growing region located along the streams and valleys of the Abe and Warashina Rivers at the base of Shizuoka’s Southern Alps is a renowned terroir for sencha aficionados with natural micro-climates that are exclusive to the remote inner reaches of the Shizuoka Prefecture. With nearly 800 years of tea farming history, this spectacular tea origin is the highest elevation tea growing region for Japanese sencha and is surrounded by dense mountain forests, clear air, pure river streams and abundant nature.

    Love the hint of chocolate with the mint in a fabulous green tea

    One of my absolute favorite teas. The chocolate undertones are real (I was initially skeptical!), and the mint in combination is spectacular. I have been drinking this tea for a year now and I'll be keeping it in my rotation of favorite standby teas! I only buy tea that I research for above and beyond fair trade and really appreciate the combination of excellence with high ethical standards.

    Repeat buyer of Green Tea Mint

    Green tea mint at Rishi out ranks any other brand for taste. And, Rishi quickly processes your order. Service and their teas are well worth the price. My only regret is that they stopped selling the green/mint in a sachet several years ago. The sachets are very convenient when we travel.
