The second most expensive crop to Saffron, Vanilla is majority hand-pollinated
and the journey of cultivating the incredible spice is a labor of love, taking over
a year to complete from pollination, to harvesting, to curing, and to export.

At Rishi, we take care to use flavor that is derived only from vanilla beans and whole vanilla pods and not a pharmaceutical distillation, so we are so grateful for our partners, the artisans in Mexico that meticulously hand craft vanilla for our captivating botanical and tea blends.

    The BEST!!

    I've been a Big fan of Rishi tea for at least 17 years. Jade Cloud Green has been my go-to tea, especially for my morning cup. The last time I ordered it, I was offered my choice of a free sample and I picked Vanilla Bean. It was love at first sniff and I ordered my first pound of it before the sample was even gone. It is consistently loved by guests, who comment how delicious it is and how comforting even to hold a cup of it and smell the vanilla. It's warm and wonderful! The flavors of the tea and vanilla are perfectly balanced. It needs no sweetener or cream as it's already naturally sweet and creamy. As the holidays approach, I can see that this will be a big hit.
