This is the most interesting tea! I had it for the first time in a restaurant. I had never had anything like it and asked what it was. I have been ordering a pound at a time and also giving it for gifts to my tea-loving friends. It is great!

I recently had a cup of Rishi tea at my favorite coffee and tea house and I was sad to see that they had replaced using loose leaf envelopes with Rishi teabags and the teabags are made out of plastic. I don’t want to ingest plastic in my system. We grt enough plastic in the world. Why can’t you be like the other companies out there that have tea bags that are not caustic to the body Get the plastic out please! ☢️⚠️☢️
Was this helpful?Rishi Tea & Botanicals1 week agoHi Paul! We really appreciate you sharing your concern about our tea bag materials. Our Rishi tea bags are actually made from a plant-based material called polylactic acid (or PLA for short). PLA is made by breaking down starches found in plant sources. We were founded on loose leaf tea, and recommend this versatile format to reduce packaging. Please don't hesitate to contact our Customer Service Team if we can help further. Thank you so much for this feedback and your commitment to sustainability.
