Nuruki Shincha Yutakamidori
A fresh and vibrant tea is buzzing with energy and strength. The bittersweetness and body are balanced with a deep umami and mineral taste.
While the Yabukita tea cultivar is the most widely cultivated in Shizuoka, Yutaka Midori is the most commonly grown cultivar in the Kagoshima region. Yutaka Midori translates to “rich green,” and it thrives in warmer, lower-elevation climates.
This year's micro-lot is lively and bright, offering an abundance of umami balanced by a natural sweetness.

Kagoshima Prefecture is located at the southwest tip of Kyushu (the third largest island of Japan) and is largely mountainous and home to important lumber, fishing and agriculture industries.
