A vibrant green iced tea that tastes like pure invigoration
Designed to steep twice, this refreshing super green tea matcha tea releases most of its rich, silky matcha in the first infusion, followed by a second delectable sencha-forward cup. These two teas complement each other perfectly, showcasing matcha’s vibrant freshness against the signature sweetness of our high-quality sencha.
Celebrated as a source of clean energy with the perfect balance of caffeine and L-theanine, matcha awakens a sense of relaxed alertness, enhancing the subtle energizing effects of sencha.
We source our matcha and sencha directly from our longtime partners in Kagoshima, Japan—a hub of tea innovation—where clean mountain air, mineral-rich volcanic soils and skilled growers and artisans produce some of the world’s finest green teas.
Convenient and ready to brew, our Matcha Super Green sachet tea bags deliver a deep, flavorful experience wherever your day takes you—enjoy premium tea at home, at work or on the go.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does Matcha Super Green tea taste like?
Sencha brings rounded sweetness and a soft, leafy umami profile. Matcha adds deeper savory notes and a pleasant bittersweet finish that remains clear and refreshing over ice.
Is Matcha Super Green tea sweetened?
No, Matcha Super Green isn’t sweetened—it only contains organic green tea and organic matcha. Any sweetness comes from the tea itself, though honey, citrus or a lightly sweetened cold foam can be added after brewing, if desired.
How does Kagoshima’s terroir shape Matcha Super Green?
Matcha Super Green comes from Kagoshima at the southern end of Kyushu, Japan, a mountainous tea-growing region shaped by mineral-rich volcanic soils and a mild southern climate.
Rishi sources its matcha and sencha from longtime partners there, where careful garden management and the region’s growing conditions contribute to green teas with pronounced sweetness, umami and vivid color.
For super green tea matcha, that shared origin means complementary expressions of sencha matcha and tencha matcha powders grown in the same region.
What should I look for when choosing a Matcha Super Green sachet?
Look at the tea’s origin, ingredients and how those ingredients were grown and processed rather than relying on broad wellness terminology or looking only at labels that brand “green tea as a superfood.”
Matcha Super Green provides naturally occurring energy and mood-boosting caffeine and L-theanine. Family farmers grow it organically, and we have long-standing relationships with them.
What does it mean for matcha to be finely milled?
Fine milling turns tencha, the shade-grown green tea used to make matcha, into a delicate powder. Traditional stone mills grind the leaves into tiny particles that disperse in water when whisked, so you drink the leaf itself rather than steeping and removing it.
In our Matcha Super Green tea, finely milled matcha complements sweet sencha with a silky body and savory umami. Most of the matcha releases during the first steep, while the second cup brings more of the sencha’s character forward.
