Blueberry Hibiscus refreshes with the tangy-tart character of hibiscus, the sweet succulence of Great Lakes blueberries and the complex floral accents of wild-harvested schisandra berries. Known as the "five-flavor fruit," schisandra berry has a long history as a traditional East Asian tonic and anti-stress tea.
Ingredients

Organic rooibos, organic elderberries, organic hibiscus flowers, organic currants, organic blueberries, organic schisandra berries.

Precaution: Hibiscus flowers may be intercropped in fields that also grow peanuts. May contain peanut or peanut shell fragments. Caution for individuals with severe peanut allergies.

"Native to Africa and Asia, Hibiscus Sabdariffa is also known as “Hibiscus Roselle” and is one of the most common and refreshing herbal teas consumed throughout Africa, The Americas, The Middle East and Asia. In Burma and Thailand , the tangy leaves are used in salads while the calyx pods, are sun-dried and used fro making juices , herbal teas, liquors, sodas, marmalades, pickles and candies. Hibiscus has a tart and fruity taste that reminds one of cranberries, citrus and tropical punch."

    I gave this flavor 3 stars because Rishi Teas are a fabulous product. I buy regularly. However this new flavor is not for me. I find the taste tart with a bitter taste but most certainly others will love it if a tart result is their go to. It’s just not my preference for follow through taste in a hot tea. Frankly, Blueberry Hibiscus might be wonderfully refreshing iced on a hot summer afternoon and if you drink alcohol a little whisky would make it a refreshing cocktail.
