Sencha lends delicious umami and sweetness that are enlivened by the fresh points of pure Japanese matcha. Celebrated as a source of clean energy with its balance of caffeine and L-theanine amino acids, matcha lends this tea an uplifting energy and Zen buzz that goes beyond what is found with a typical sencha. Matcha Super Green yields two brilliant infusions: most of the matcha is released in the first infusion for an ultra-rich cup, followed by a second infusion that presents a welcome sweetness comprised mostly of sencha.

Much like the rest of Japan, this region has well manicured tea gardens with well-developed irrigation, and farmers follow strict growing procedures to produce this perfect tea bush shape and size.

    BEST MATCHA

    I love Rishi's matcha tea. I've tried others and to me, there's no comparison. The tea is smooth and tasty. I steep it for 4 minutes and add a barista cream. Delicious.
