About 10 Cups Of Tea

A sweet, sour and fruity white tea from an ancient variety of wild tea trees that is uniquely aromatic and prized by rare tea connoisseurs.

About This Tea
This Silver Needles-style of white tea was produced from a small batch harvest of an ancient variety of wild tea trees that are uniquely aromatic and prized by rare tea connoisseurs. This rare variety of tea, named Camellia crassicolumna, has a naturally low content of caffeine and bitterness and comparatively high levels of amino acids and L-theanine, making it refreshing and smooth with a special sweetness and umami.

The multi-colored pink, gold, green, and silvery down-covered buds yield a tangy, sweet, and sour tea with a complex aroma and layered sweetness. What this tea lacks in caffeine, bitterness, and tannin structure is made up for with an array of terpenes and volatile aromatics that make any gongfu tea brewing session an amazing sensory experience.

The notes of magnolia, tea rose, cucumber, and chamomile are pronounced and balanced with a sweet umami and overall smooth taste. Tea lovers often comment that this variety makes a perfect post-dinner or late-night tea for meditation sessions that won’t keep you up late into the night.

    Precious Delicious

White tea is my favorite and I look for different varieties to treat myself. This wild tea is low in caffeine and has a beautiful, delicate flavor and scent. It's precious and worth it. Bonus is that it will take several infusions without losing it's taste.
