Description

Cultivar: Xiang Gui Yun Hao "Fragrant Tippy Yunnan"
Elevation: 1,850m
Harvest Date: April-May 2016

Yunnan Xiang Gui celebrates the sweetness that the best traditional style Dianhong ("Yunnan Red") teas have to offer. It is made from a cultivar that is cherished for its downy tips that are lush with a high concentration of tricomes–the golden fleece that covers the tea buds. These golden buds not only create a beautiful dry leaf to appreciate, but also lend a rich mouthfeel and natural sugary sweetness into the cup. Yunnan Xiang Gui is best enjoyed straight up, without milk or sugar.
