This micro-lot of the Koushun cultivar is mid-steamed and exudes a great balance of bitter-sweetness, umami flavor and refreshing mountain minerality. Koushun was bred from the Mother of Kurosawa and the Father of Kanayamidori tea bushes. It has the natural tendency to make aromatic teas with its wide ranging aromatic compounds that waft fruits, spices, resinous woods and flowering cherry (sakura).
