Rishi x Lynnette Marrero

Lynnette Marrero's "spirited" career began at New York's Flatiron Lounge alongside cocktail savant Julie Reiner, where she discovered the spirits industry was her true calling. After tenure at Freeman's NYC, which is known for its innovative drinks, Lynnette leapt to consulting and co-designed the bar program for Elettaria in Manhattan's West Village. While at Elettaria, her passion for rum was ignited. She worked to perfect the art of mixing rums and spent time shadowing the Zacapa Rum Master Blender in Guatemala. This hands-on experience led to the role of Rum Ambassador with Diageo for several years.

Lynnette returned to the beverage consulting world with her own company, Drinksat6. Her mission was to cultivate a new generation of cocktail bartenders while elevating the bars within restaurants. While helping to create inspiring beverage programs like the one at Tijuana Picnic on Manhattan's Lower East Side, she has garnered her share of accolades:

Marrero is the National Brand Mixologist for Perrier Sparkling Natural Mineral Water and San Pellegrino Sparkling Fruit Beverages, while also working with Zacapa Rum as their trade educator and mixology ambassador in New York City. She is the President of LUPEC NYC, which is an organization dedicated to promoting women bartenders while raising funds for women's-based charities. She co-created and produces Speed Rack with Ivy Mix, a national cocktail competition that has since expanded into three global markets. In June of 2015, she created the Bright Eyed Fizz made with Rishi's Turmeric Ginger, much to the delight of the crowds at Saveur Magazine's Summer Cookout.
