Lemon Ginger combines high elevation black tea from Nepal with zesty ginger, pungent Guatemalan turmeric, juicy mango and a burst of stimulating lemon. The balancing, adaptogenic energy of these botanicals makes a perfect traveler's tea. The black tea is sourced from the Jun Chiyabari Tea Estate, who we have linked with to support micro-loans for women entrepreneurs in Nepal through Project Nepal - FWEAN Your enjoyment of our Nepali teas makes an impact: $2.00 for every kilogram of tea that Rishi buys from Jun Chiyabari contributes directly to an entrepreneurial micro-finance fund implemented by FWEAN.

Tasting Notes: Refreshing citrus and zesty ginger with tropical hints of juicy mango and turmeric.

Ingredients: Organic black tea, organic ginger root, organic lemon peel, organic mango, organic lemongrass, organic turmeric root, organic licorice root, essential lemon, lime, and ginger oils.

Rishi Tea Blend
Water Temperature: 200°F
Leaf to Water Ratio: 1 tablespoon per 8 ounces
Steep Time: 3-4 minutes

We encourage you to experiment with the quantity of tea leaves and the length of the steep time to find your desired brew strength. Varying the water temperature isn't recommended, as water that is too hot will over-extract the bitter components of tea, while water that is too cool might not fully draw out the aromas and flavors of tea.

Pronounced ginger lemon smell with a hint of sweetness. Taste is strong ginger that pleasantly bites the back of my throat. I am drawn to this tea when I have muscle aches during the day and need to work in front of a screen.
