Kiyomizuyaki refers to an area in Kyoto, Japan near the Kiyomizu Temple that has been recognized for its pottery works since the Momoyama period. Although the beautiful sheen of the material appears to be porcelain the bowl is in fact crafted from a durable stoneware. The vibrant color is the result of firing at a low temperature which makes glass in the material appear almost transparent. The Kiyomizuyaki Matcha Bowl makes for a beautiful accompaniment to any matcha set.
Hand wash with warm water.
