This is a rare yellow tea known as Huo Shan Huang Ya ("Huo Shan Yellow Buds") from the Huo Shan mountain region in Anhui province. Picked in the Qingming period in springtime, these tea leaves are brilliant emerald in color with hints of golden yellow .
We selected this micro-lot for its refined structure, delicate flowery aroma, and smooth nutty-sweet finish reminiscent of very fresh walnuts.
