Our top-shelf Dragon Well, harvested prior to the Qingming period in early spring from high mountain tea gardens in the Bao Kang area of northern Hubei province. These pristine tea farms are located in a remote area, far removed from the industrial pollution that is prevalent near Dragon Well's traditional growing region in Hangzhou. For nearly a decade we have practiced direct trade with the farmers in Bao Kang, who grow the same traditional Dragon Well tea bush cultivars and use the same artisanal methods of firing and shaping this most cherished style of pan-fired Chinese green tea.
