Yohen Tetsuki Samashi
Yohen (natural ash glaze) Tetsuki Samashi (water cooler with handle) was hand thrown on a potter’s wheel with natural clay by pottery master Wantanabe Keiichiro-san. Water cooling pitchers such as the Yohen Tetsuki Samashi are an essential tool for making many premium teas as it allows hot water to cool to the appropriate temperature before pouring it into the teapot. The low and wide shape of the Yohen Tetsuki Samashi allows water to cool faster.
