Hand crafted on a potter’s wheel by Ito Seiji-san, this Yohen (natural ash glaze) teapot with sasame (clay mesh screen) is well suited to all premium loose leaf teas. Although simple in design, the precision of teaware master Ito Seiji-san’s skill can be found in the beautiful lid, robust handle, perfect foot, and every seam. The short robust handle is surprisingly well suited to the 575ml body, giving it excellent pouring function even when the teapot is full.
