Okumidori Chumushi, Rich Green (First Flush), Japanese Green Tea
A wonderful chumushi (mid-steamed) sencha from Southern Japan’s Kagoshima Prefecture. Okumidori is a premium tea bush varietal that is well suited to mid-steaming. It yields a vivid green infusion color with a deep flavor and a rich, creamy body that is accented by aromatic notes of roasted grain. The special final drying technique yields a hint of nutty sweetness in the finish while still retaining the fresh, 1st Flush sencha character.
