Duck Eggshell Porcelain Guywan Set

Guywan (lidded bowl) is a traditional Chinese style of teaware. Typically, the guywan consists of a bowl, lid and saucer. The tealeaves are put in the bowl, water is poured over the tea, and the lid covers the bowl so the tea can infuse while maintaining its aroma. Traditionally, the lid keeps the leaves at bay while you sip directly from the bowl. Rishi’s Guywan is made with glowing white jade porcelain known as duck eggshell. It includes a drinking cup that the tea—infused in the guywan—can be poured into for easy sipping.
