Sencha is the traditional steamed green tea of
Japan. Steaming preserves tea's fresh
character and vivid green color by quickly
halting natural tea oxidation. Sencha is finished
with a light roast to develop a light pine aroma.
Sencha's bright green infusion has a refreshing
energy with a balance of juicy-sweet flavor,
deep umami and a crisp, refreshing finish.
Tasting Notes: Premium Japanese green tea with a rich mouthfeel and long-lasting fresh flavor
Ingredients: Organic green tea.
Additional Info: Green Teas are enjoyed worldwide for
their invigorating, fresh character
preserved through various crafting styles
and firing methods.

For the best infusions, we recommend brewing this tea in a Tokoname teapot
We encourage you to experiment with the quantity of tea leaves and the length of the steep time to find your desired brew strength. Varying the water temperature isn't recommended, as water that is too hot will over-extract the bitter components of tea, while water that is too cool might not fully draw out the aromas and flavors of tea.

I drink Matcha and Sencha Daily for years. I must say that this Sencha is surprisingly delicious. Fantastic nose, dark green shiny leaves. If brewed properly, little to no bitterness, strong umami, green and fresh tasting. Highly recommended
