This wonderfully balanced, bright and fragrant tea from the Jun Chiyabari tea garden in Nepal is named for its lush aromatic profile, bursting with persistent high floral notes If you love a crisp Pinot Grigio or an IPA, this is your Himalayan tea. Best enjoyed when prepared in a porcelain guywan, allowing you to savor the aromatic depth and persistence of the tea over the course of many infusions.

Your purchase of this tea provides micro-finance for impoverished women to launch small businesses in Nepal. Learn more about Rishi's Project Nepal.

Tasting Notes: Crisp with a bright sweetness and persistent floral notes evocative of Lily of the Valley.

Ingredients: Organic black tea

Hile, Nepal
Water Temperature: 200°F
Leaf to Water Ratio: 1 tablespoon (5grams) per 8 ounces
Steep Time: 2-3 minutes (1st infusion), 4 minutes (2nd infusion), 5 minutes (3rd infusion)

We encourage you to experiment with the quantity of tea leaves and the length of the steep time to find your desired brew strength. Varying the water temperature isn't recommended, as water that is too hot will over-extract the bitter components of tea, while water that is too cool might not fully draw out the aromas and flavors of tea.
