Ginger is one of the principal ingredients in the traditional herbal medicines and food cultures of Asia. Each year we taste ginger from a range of origins to select only the most zesty and energizing. We seek a specific balance of enlivening, pungent heat with a bright, lemony aroma.
Ingredients: Organic ginger root.
Water Temperature: 212°F (boiling)
Leaf to Water Ratio: 1 tablespoon per 8 ounces
Infusion Time: 4-5 minutes
We encourage you to experiment with the quantity of tealeaves and the length of the infusion time to find your desired brew strength. Varying the water temperature isn't recommended, as water that is too hot will over-extract the bitter components of tea, while water that is too cool might not fully draw out the aromas and flavors of tea.

We us this pure organic ginger alone, or blended with peppermint, Mystic Mint, and various different chai blends to add zip. Delicious. Can be steeped several times, and does not deteriorate with heat, gets stronger.
