Organic Trade Association
Organic products offer a wide variety of benefits for us as well as for the environment through the use of earth-friendly agricultural methods and practices. Rishi Tea partners with numerous organic tea gardens around the world to offer the highest quality organic tea. In addition to being a USDA Organic Certified producer, Rishi Tea is a proud member of the Organic Trade Association (OTA), a business association promoting and protecting the growth of organic trade to benefit the environment, farmers, the public and the economy.

Green America
Our teas are certified Fair Trade whenever possible. Green America, like Rishi Tea, believes in empowering individuals to make purchasing and investing choices that promote social justice and environmental sustainability. As members of Green America, our support promotes corporate responsibility through collective economic action, educates on green and fair trade business principles, and helps build sustainable communities in the US and abroad. Help us promote economic, environmental and social justice around the world!

Growing Power
We drink a lot of tea here at the Rishi offices. If you think about it, that’s a lot of tealeaves that could be put to good use! That’s why we’ve partnered with Growing Power, to put the tealeaves to use in their composts. Growing Power, a self-sustaining urban farm from our hometown of Milwaukee, educates teens, farmers and communities on sustainable farming practices in the U.S. through workshops, training, outreach and technical assistance.

Our Milwaukee
Rishi Tea is proud to be a member of Our Milwaukee – a local business alliance dedicated to building a more sustainable Milwaukee through advocating for locally owned businesses and increasing awareness about the personal and community benefits of choosing local. For every $1 you spend at a locally owned business, more than 68¢ remains in the city. We encourage you to do your part by shopping locally and supporting your community!

WMSE
Music, like tea, not only has the incredible ability to unify, but both are celebrated all around the world. Here in Milwaukee, we’re extremely lucky to have WMSE Radio (91.7 FM) broadcasting diverse music programming for over 25 years. WMSE, Southeastern Wisconsin’s non-profit, listener-supported radio offers a wide selection of musical programming you can’t find anywhere else. As lovers of music, we support our dear frontier radio friends!

Clean Water Fund
Rishi Tea recognizes the fundamental importance of clean water, not only for tea, but for our health and the well-being of our environment. We’ve teamed up with Clean Water Fund, a grass-roots organization working to protect and restore America’s waters. Read how your purchase of Rishi’s Organic Cinnamon Plum can help.

Organic Consumers Association
We’re very happy the Organic Consumers Association (OCA) exists. As a non-profit grass-roots organization, the OCA is the only public interest group in the US focused exclusively on promoting the views and interests of the nation's estimated 50 million organic and socially responsible consumers. The OCA campaigns for issues near and dear to us: health, justice, peace and sustainability. Find organic retailers in your area, take action towards a cleaner planet or stay informed with up-to-date news on all things organic.

Milwaukee Fair Trade Coalition
It’s through the dedicated work of the MFTC and its members (which we proudly are) that helped establish Milwaukee as the first Fair Trade City in the U.S. Through working with MFTC, it is our goal to build awareness around the current social, economic and environmental issues prevalent in our communities and around the world. We aspire to make fair trade a part of the solution.
